review

This headset sports an awesome feature not seen in many Bluetooth headsets: noise-cancellation on the microphone. Noise-cancellation can be triggered whenever you need thanks to an in-built switch. If you like a wireless headset with a simplistic design, you will love the Motorola H780.

Motorola H780 Wireless Bluetooth Headset

Project your voice without background noise

Bluetooth headsets are extremely useful if they can get your voice through to your caller without being completely cut off by a lot of background noise. That is exactly what Motorola is aiming at doing with the Motorola H780 Wireless Bluetooth headset. An important feature of this headset is its noise-cancelling option, which you can trigger at the push of a button (although you may feel you never want to turn it off).

The Motorola H780 Wireless Bluetooth headset sports a utilitarian type of design with a rectangular shape and somewhat pointed edges. The front of the headset sports the call/multifunction button which can be used to pick up calls and redial the last number from the phone. Above this button is a strip of metal in which one of the two microphones is housed. This microphone is used to cancel out background noise when you turn on the noise-cancellation option of the Motorola H780 Wireless Bluetooth headset via the button above the microphone. This noise-canceling button is somewhat small, however, it is hard to imagine that you would want to keep turning noise-cancellation on and off all the time; therefore it is not a problem.

The right edge of the Motorola H780 Wireless Bluetooth headset contains the volume buttons and the power switch. This power switch is useful as you can turn off the headset when you are not using it which allows you to conserve battery power.

The Motorola H780 Wireless Bluetooth headset comes with a variety of ear cushions you can fit on the earpiece if the default one does not fit your ear. It is also equipped with a thin flexible ear hook which can be used to secure the Motorola

H780 Wireless Bluetooth headset in place when you are using it.
Sound quality of the Motorola H780 Wireless Bluetooth headset is quite good, and the effectiveness of the noise-cancellation is apparent, as your voice will be delivered quickly to whoever you are talking to even in the most noisy environments.

However, some users complain that your voice becomes harsh and tinny when using noise-cancellation.

All in all, the Motorola H780 Wireless Bluetooth headset is a great wireless headset solution that you could use with any mobile phone to great effect.
