Wireless headset technology has come a long way in the past few years and the appeal is obvious. Unlike corded headsets, wireless models are free of any sort of wire liberating the user from tangles, accidents and the chains of their workspace. Wireless headsets have a generally large range allowing users to travel a reasonable distance without losing a signal while corded headsets are limited to the length of the wire they are attached to. The Wireless models come with a battery that can (depending on the model) last for ten hours of talk time, but there is always the risk that the headset will go dead mid-conversation. Typically a bit pricier than corded headsets, the wireless models are worth the money in terms of convenience and mobility.
