The Good

This is a convenient ergonomic headset with an adjustable headband. The cord is flexible and light so you won’t have to carry extra weight. The boom mic has a small indicator light that glows when you're on a call.

The Bad

It's corded – that’s about the only drawback to this headset. It has no wireless capability at all. It’s not a Bluetooth headset and some may find this disappointing.

I would definitely recommend this model for business use as it provides a high level of quality that ensures you won't have to go buy another headset for a while.

For telephone headsets, Plantronics has been a solid contender for some time now by providing quality at very economical prices. Many major call-in centers use Plantronics because they have such a reliable reputation.

There are two ways you can wear the Plantronics S12 Corded Headset.  Number one, you can wear it in the traditional over-the-head style. Number two, you can choose to use the ear clip. That way, all you have to do is hook it over the ear.

The boom mic is slim and there’s no big ball at the end, making movement seem more natural. Unfortunately, the headset is a corded one so those interested in wireless may be disappointed.

The S12 comes with its own amplifier and plugs right into the phone, giving you complete control for single or multi-line phones. It also has a headset stand for greater convenience. No more leaving the headset someplace where someone can easily sit on it by mistake.

The Plantronics S12 headset and the earpiece are both very comfortable and are designed for long use. There are no sharp edges anywhere to bump or scrape soft skin. With the amp control, headphone volume is easy to adjust and so is mic volume.

As a business level product, I think this is a great buy because you’re getting business quality at a decent price. The Plantronics S12 unit is a good investment for those who need to be on the phone for long periods of time.
