Plantronics Explorer 320

As an entry-level Bluetooth headset - the Explorer 320 serves the purpose. It’s comfortable to wear and fits easily on most ears/heads.

The Plantronics Explorer 320 features a smooth, sleek design but its Bluetooth syncing capability (or lack thereof) is a disappointment.  However, once you have it connected to your device, this product is solid. With 8 hours of active talk time and more than 240 hours of standby, this tiny headset has remarkable endurance.

The single multi-function button on the headset is a little bit smaller than other models, but it’s still easy to use and feels natural when the device is active. The boom mic features noise reduction technology, so sound quality, although a bit hollow, was still good through wind and other environmental noises.  Wind didn’t cause the connection to break up.

The Plantronics Explorer 320 headset is a small and lightweight device that when attached is very inconspicuous and not at all obtrusive. The headset has a soft ear bud for maximum comfort, unlike some of the other Plantronics headsets. With the ear coil in place, even jogging or running will not dislodge the device.

The 320 has very limited range, however.  Even a few feet away from the cell causes a drop in sound, and if you’re more than 10 feet away, you’ll hear very noticeable sound degradation. But for the cost, this may not be a big deal to you. Most people just drop their cell into their pocket and let the Plantronics Explorer 320 do the rest.
