Logitech Wireless Headset H760 Review

Logitech Wireless H760 HeadsetA wonderful wireless alternative.

This headset has a very adequate sound quality, long lasting battery charge, great wireless range (over forty feet), and an impressive rotating microphone.

It's not very comfortable for some people, there is no speaker mute button  and the behind-the-head setup is a bit annoying.

review

The Logitech Wireless H760 Headset is the perfect mid-level headset for anybody who wants good quality at an affordable price. You won't mistake this headset for a Sennheiser any time soon, but you'll definitely get what you pay for out of the bargain. Logitech has a solid winner on its hands and, for a mid-range headset, this is one model that is hard to beat.

Logitech Wireless Headset H760 Review

A wonderful wireless alternative

Logitech has always had a special talent for making entry-level headsets that cater to people of all backgrounds. A casual videophone user will find thrills galore in nearly all of Logitech's offerings, while pickier audio snobs are satisfied with the more high-end headsets offered by the company. But in the middle ground, the area between high quality and low price, you'd have your work cut out for you trying to find something better than the Logitech Wireless Headset H760.

It isn't a perfect wireless headset. There isn't a speaker mute button on the H760, a noticeable omission that will bug a lot of businessmen and women. The behind-the-head headband is a novel concept but it comes with very little padding. The mesh ear cups also have been known to irritate the ears of more sensitive users. But these minor gripes are almost made up for when you see the H760 in action. The range is an impressive forty feet and beyond and gamers note that the audio is just as good as an equally priced headset with a cord. This fact is quite impressive, even for Logitech. The headset also holds a great charge and lasts through over seven hours of continuous use.

The price of the H760 hovers around a hundred bucks but a savvy shopper can usually find it for considerably less. This makes it a pretty affordable buy, even considering the drawbacks. When you throw in such nice little touches like a noise canceling mic and a rotating boom, the price is even more appealing. Those looking for a top of the line headset won't find it in the H760 but anyone looking for a headset that works great, gets the job done, and most importantly doesn't cost an arm and a leg, it is hard to top the H760.
